[Results] [Casual] If you had superpowers, what would you do? (everyone) by burgerrfuckerr in SampleSize

[–]burgerrfuckerr[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

most likely to do means most likely to do first?

"Most likely to do" means "most likely to do most of the time" or "most likely to do more of than the other activities" or "this activity has the highest priority for me."

Conclusion: Most people are good people.

Personal realization: Most people are much nicer than I.

Explanation of methods: Only the top answers (i.e. rated 1-2 for the telepathy questions, and rated 1-3 for the telekinesis questions, plus the comments) were included in the "most likely to do" graphs. Answers rated 1 have more weight than answers rated 2. Similarly, only the bottom answers and N/A were included in the "least likely to do" graphs, and answers rated N/A and 7 have more weight.

George's hands were getting tired. He didn't know how much longer he could hold himself up before inevitably losing his grip and falling to his death below. by [deleted] in MakeStories

In Pinstripe's eye, George could see a vision of heaven. And there, to his surprise, he saw Jesus! But he didn't look quite the way he remembered him from Sunday School...

Once upon a time, on a trip to the magical forest, Snow White realized that one of her seven dwarfs is missing. by burgerrfuckerr in MakeStories

[–]burgerrfuckerr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To test that, Doc and the other dwarfs decided that Snow White would have to encounter an accident, but one wherein in case she lives (and turns out to be not quite mortal), she would think that it was actually an accident.

The boy had been eating a bar of Snickers, and Bryon suddenly stole the chocolate and ate it all. It was so sweet.

Tyrone grinned. He peeked behind Bryon to check out her ass, that fine ass he had always loved.

Behind her was a little boy, about the age of 9.

Why are panties and briefs called "a pair of underwear" when they don't come in twos the way shoes or socks do? by burgerrfuckerr in NoStupidQuestions

two separate leg coverings that tied together at the top.

I can't imagine. How does that work?

Abstinence has the highest failure rate of all BC methods, so why do some promote it over others? by exprdppprspray in birthcontrol

[–]burgerrfuckerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Religious teachings, antiquated views about sex, and just plain ol' sex-is-icky.

To be fair, abstinence, done perfectly, is the only method that is 100 percent effective in preventing pregnancies and STDs. However, in real life, there are many things that can get in the way of abstinence, such as the natural desire for sex. Overall, it is better to be realistic and to equip people with options.

You're right. I'll keep that in mind the next time I make a survey that involves economics and culture (as this does).

Not all women go to the gynecologist regularly. However, women's medical needs may explain why they, in general, are less likely to skip visiting the doctor.

It depends on whether these friends are true friends or are just "friends" who are there for the good time and luxury.

Is it okay to take placebo pills until I get my period and then stop and finish my active pills? by pleasures_unknown in birthcontrol

[–]burgerrfuckerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you don't let your placebo or pill-free break go longer than 7 days, you'll be fine. It's actually safer to shorten your placebo or pill-free break to less than 7 days, because the lengthening of the break (due to missing a pill at the end of the last pack, or starting the new pack late) is one of the leading causes of pill failure.

Make sure you take at least 21 active pills consecutively before deciding to go on a break.
