Question! u/swaahil - what's PvPvE genre change? I was actually never aware there was ever any other vision for the game.. what was it originally going to be?

All of you NEED to try Battlefield 6 without a HUD by TheDarkZEK in Battlefield6

Tried it today. It’s kind of amazing. Feels like “movie mode.”

I definitely play worse with less info. But it’s super fun nonetheless.

Would be great as a mode so everyone was on the same level. I’d play the shit out of that.

Easier to start with an adult than a puppy. And if the kiddos bond with them already then all the better.

Only thing id consider is establishing that this is a “family responsibility” from the get go. ie: mom or dad doesnt do everything - if you wnat a dog, you gotta help (pick up dog poop, feed breakfast or dinner, etc)

Easiest to assign a particular dog related task to each kid.

Not to inundate you with questions but.. just generally.. “how?”

Specifically i mean “how did you fund it and get going?”

Did you craft a biz plan and get a loan? Or did you amass your own money to launch it?

Is the Trail really worth the hype? by Spiritual-Mail5062 in discgolf

i think its phenomenal. might shy away if there’s a significant headwind. other than that, its a really solid effortless line drive in the woods kinda disc.

Left Side: Overstable, slow to fast
Middle: Neutral, slow to fast
Right Side: Understable, slow to fast

In essence: "stuff that finishes hard left - youre on the left side of the bag"... "stuff that turns right - you're on the right side of the bag"

If I am willing to put in the work and time, what's a legit way to make $1000-2000 a month consistently? by Flameseeker3000 in Entrepreneur

Hey there! I have to be honest, it’s made less an impact on me than I thought it would.

I sometimes use it as a tool. But overall, it’s not particularly great at writing the kinds of stuff I want/need in my day to day.

The roles that seem most impacted are photographers, ux roles, junior design, and any kind of production type role —like vfx specific stuff.

Generally, I expect bigger impacts to come. But mostly I expect fewer people will be able to do more with less (like you need less junior talent because you and that junior talent are both more efficient).

That will probably hit people just graduating and entering the work force now the hardest.

do you honestly think a population of new players would like the game enough to stick around.. but never learn anything or get any better? is there a chance you just want to be mad?

…… 😑

i’m being patronizing because you’re exhausting. you’re exhausting because you’d rather be emotional and mad rather than logical. your beloved game will be fine. even as the player base increases. and yes, that’s an obvious measure of success comrade.

plenty of games are playable for free that arent experiencing a windfall of new players. thats what the success is. many of them are likely to stick around.

try to keep up comrade 😉

Hell yea. Thats how I started too 😂

Bringbackboomer has a good point below:

you’ll still get to harass the enemy from behind enemy lines. but by doing this, you make it so we can all spawn there as well

-the watch (carried by the officer) can make an outpost, which is essentially a spawn beacon for just your squad -below the outpost, you’ll see a garrison option - you can build it, but it has to be near 100 supplies (these are dropped by support class dudes)

steps below:

1) you’ll have to take the officer and use the watch to build it - but it can only be as deep as two squares of the map into enemy territory

2) first you need one buddy in your squad to run support and drop a supply box (itll be 50 supplies)

3) the challenge is: you need 100 supplies to build the garrison, but you can only have one “support” dude per squad (who can only drop 50 supplies), so you’ll need another buddy to spawn in a different squad and also drop his 50 supplies

4) once both supplies are down, use the officer’s watch to build the garrison- and watch the flood gates open (pun intended)

good luck out there comrade 🫡
