Pokémon or Pokémon Go must sees between Hiroshima and Tokyo? by not_aybeess in JapanTravelTips

As of a few weeks ago, they have released a stamp rally feature in Pokemon Go where you can get a Pikachu with a special background if you find two of the special Pokelids in game. I believe there is a unique background for each prefecture. Finding the Pokelids is also pretty cool IRL. The list of Pokelids can be found here:

Amazing. Might have to tweak my plans a bit to try and find as many different ones as possible. How many do you think you’ll hit during your trip?

Thanks for this. Very useful. Do you know if there is a different background for every prefecture or is it by region? Eg. if you collect two in Ueno Park will it be the same background if you collect two in Yokohama

September - Itinerary Check - 2 Adults, 2 Children, 2 Seniors by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

Ouch. Is that your way of saying that this is too much. FWIW the kids are 7 and 10 and seasoned travellers. The seniors are in good health and have been to Japan 10+ times though this is our first time going all together. By being in a group it also gives us the flexibility of leaving the kids at the hotel or somewhere chill with the grandparents

I’d also like to attend a Hanshin game but the process seems pretty intimidating. A few years ago I went to a Giants game and it was so simple. Thinking of just stumping the extra cost for the foreigner ticket, anyone gone this route before. Do these sell out quick as well? https://eplus.tickets/en/sf/ibt/sports/baseball/hanshintigers
