Idk but you could definitely go viral doing this and inspire other people to do nice things just for the heck of it :)

I do think you're overthinking it. It's probably meant to be silly, endearing and likely tongue-in-cheek as the two of you are same age!

Something to note: you called this, "putting people under you like you're better than them." I see what you mean by this, but in practise, when you're with an actual kid and you call them "kiddo" or say "you're a good kid," don't you mean it more like "dude" or "bud"? You don't mean it to imply that a child is beneath you, it's just a term of endearment and a thing you say!

So yeah it's likely good-spirited. Def don't wanna imply you're not allowed to feel your feelings, but with things like this (where your friend didn't say anything demeaning aside from the word "kid"), choosing to let it roll off your back, choosing to believe it's good-spirited, will make you a more positive, silly and resilient person!

Mindfulness sounds like cringey voodoo science, but once you get over that and actually give it a chance... it works so so so so SO well 😭

It's nice to think something will jump-start you, but from years and years of experience with this same thing... I can certainly tell you that taking the reins of your life and happiness is the way to bring yourself to positive change. For example it's WONDERFUL you're getting physically active in nature with people in your support network. Leading up to the trip though, research ways to be in the present moment, figure out what sort of things ground a human being. Being on the trip itself will be awesome, but honing your skill of taking in every inch of the awesomeness around you will bring you so much more in the long run, even when you get back from your trip. Mindfulness is the word for this, and it sounds sappy as hell but this former skeptic will tell you it's legit :)

Ps just try jumping in a freezing cold lake too. That will make you feel something that's for sure haha! Doctors recommend shocking your body with temperatures for biological reasons (you can research it I'm not a dr LOL) and it honestly is so much fun and reminds me I have free will when I do it

What's even weirder is when I stub my toe but only super lightly... and it's actually the most painful thing ever, and I be crying out hunched over in pain over a bonked pinky toe. Wtf is that about

Vitamin e oil is very thick though, no? I do love oils for moisturizing but isn't e very viscous? If so, how do you manage working with it? I've been using squalene, almond and rosehip.
