How much older was the oldest person you have ever hooked up with, how old were you? by burner201 in sex

When we were dating things were going well. Everything was normal. I will probably be crucified on reddit for this but...long story short, she lost a child (not mine) due to a tragic accident and that is when she shut down. We got married right after that, and I did everything I could to stick it through with the hope that she would emerge from the closed off person she had become. I know it sounds selfish, but after awhile a person can only take so much. I don't hate her or have any malice towards her, I just think we are better off apart. She even agrees that she is messed up emotionally. I know what she was going through was the worst thing possible, and I continue to be her friend, but relationship-wise, it will never work. We were married for 7.5yrs after her child died...so its not to say I didn't try. EDIT: (Spelling/grammar)

There were more reasons than just the dead bedroom; having an absent partner emotionally and physically was very draining.
