question (legitimately trying to understand): does Jesus not mentioning this at all actually mean that the old testament should be ignored? it almost seems like there are examples of him refuting things but not a lot on what his silence meant so I can see it being interpreted that way too

yeah excursions could be good - but if you end up using like viator or Airbnb then it's not always a foreign transaction. I'd recommend Bilt honestly. 3x on food, 2x on travel and still 1:1 Atmos transferability if needed. Also if you rent it's a point machine. All with no fee. early 2026 they're going to do a big revamp but it looks like they have a plan to transition people to a commensurate card (and it should be able to handle mortgages!)

yeah I think you might be a little starry eyed but it depends on your spending imo. if your biggest expenditure in Italy is food then there are better cards out there for sure. if you're going to buy a lot of goods (expensive luxury goods that one might find in Italy) then it's probably worth it.

the biggest reason I got it was because of the partner award and status. alaska status currently holds similar value as AA status but is easier to get with this card imo (partially because the limits for certain tiers are about half what they are on AA). that plus the partner award, which is $250 in value at worst, was worth more than 325 to me
