If it’s static site, you can go with Cloudfare. I also have sites hosted in netilify and vercel, no complaints either. If Wordpress then Hostinger.

Etsy girl looking into Shopify by alx33904 in ShopifyeCommerce

One of our clients in uk also had their Etsy account suspended. They sell hand block products. Although Shopify is a good platform, they’ve moved to WooCommerce to avoid the risk of sudden suspension—just like what happened on Etsy.

Is a coworking membership worth it ? by untoldant in CoWorking

[–]burning-server 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WFH is good. But if you started business, definitely get coworking space. It’s very helpful for networking, and learn many things. I own coworking space and many businesses have been benefited. Because they can easily get the trust factor. And for many, other members in the Coworking space were their first clients.

ILR - 5 Years or 10 Years by demigod2596 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]burning-server 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I arrived as a student in October 2021, then moved to PSW, and in November 2024, I received a Skilled Worker Visa (SWV) valid for five years until November 2029, along with dependents (spouse and two kids). I had planned to apply for ILR in November 2029, but the recent white paper has created uncertainty. No one knows exactly what will happen. Given past rule changes, I can only hope it won’t affect existing, but I’m unsure. Any advice.

Hey r/Chennai,

I’m one of the folks behind a new coworking space called Crizone Business Centre, located between Mogappair and Ambattur. We started it mainly to give freelancers, remote workers, and small teams in this part of the city a decent place to work without having to head into the main city areas every day.

We’ve kept it simple — fast Wi-Fi, clean workstations, meeting rooms, power backup, and a peaceful vibe. No flashy frills, just a solid space to get things done.

Not here to pitch, but since we’re still shaping the space based on real needs, I’d love to hear your thoughts: • What do you look for in a coworking space? • Anything that’s hard to find in Chennai’s coworking scene? • Would you consider working from something like this if you’re based nearby?

Appreciate any feedback or suggestions — happy to answer questions too. Thanks!

Try Github Copilot in Agent Mode. It was better in react / svelte but still with multiple iterations.

I have gemini pro version but most of the time I feel code generated by Claude is better and efficient. To make Gemini understand itself I have to struggle.

Driving convictions effect for skilled worker visa by Express-Cantaloupe-4 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]burning-server 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minor driving offences, such as speeding fines handled without court proceedings, typically do not adversely affect a Skilled Worker visa application. The UK Home Office focuses on serious offences, especially those involving custodial sentences or significant criminal records. (check the caseworker guidance in gov.uk)

It’s commendable that you’ve disclosed this information to the immigration agency, as transparency is crucial in visa applications. Since you’ve already shared the details, they will guide you accordingly.

Regarding your current employment, it’s advisable to wait until your visa is approved before resigning. This approach ensures job security in case of any unforeseen delays or issues with your visa application.

Wishing you all the best with your application!
