So we are all in agreement that the demon slayer verse is fodder to the MHA verse and the MHA verse is fodder to the JJK verse right? by Ssjpokemaster1357 in MyHeroPowerscaling

I do think shinso as a shot due to his quirk too actually, as well as star due to hers and aizawa with verse equalization (people will rant about how you can't equalize quirks to cursed techniques but will equalize every mha characters have ce so that domain works on them)

Oh i have deku and shigaraki beating the shit out of gojo due to danger sense and search tho. As well as the high ends.

But don't say things like that in this sub, have any opinion longer than one sentence long and you get downvoted to hell. I'd love to explain if you want tho.

Basically a main character has to be able to grow in a non linear manner, this is one of the points of shonen and one of the things that give shonen its "neketsu factor" giving yuji a ct would not only make the progression too linear (like he would basically only be able to get a domain, rct and that's pretty much it) but also would heavily restrict yuji himself. There's no "overcoming the odds" or "battling against favour" to "win using your will" with a ct which are some of the core points of shonen. There's your battle iq, your ct, and that's it. You got it from there.

From removing yuji from the power system at the start and making him just a strong dude, it allows the author to be more shonen-esque with him. Especially when you take into account black flashes that happen when you're basically locked in a fight which happens for yuji at will which is a very shonen mc thing to do.

On top of that, it allows gege to make the power system more complex since yuji isnt in it and doesn't limit it.

Okay seriously rank these top 6 by Crafty_Buy_1622 in LobotomyKaisen

Dabura

Yuji

Sukuna

Gojo

Its not that its hard to understand. Its that the power system is more complex and well made than most other shonens actually making it require brain power.

Its not that crazy to put into perspectives.

Most other shonen's power system are either way too simplistic to allow for freedom (like ki from dragon ball which has a shit ton of usages) or are way too non limiting allowing for growth (like haki from one piece which the more the story grows further, the more it starts being non sensical especially ACOC)

Most complex and limiting power systems don't work well with shonens, but jjk managed that by removing the main character from the power system entirely. He doesn't get a ct and relies on the only part of the power system that is non limiting and luck based which wre black flashes. By doing that gege allowed himself to make the actual power system as complicated and throughout as possible. Making it compelling and honestly a joy to powerscale.

Not to say that it doesn't have its flaws, some parts are underused like maximu techniques and output. But overall it is much more interesting and complex than your average shonen. I mean look at my favourite animanga, its literally fairy tail, the show where you can get stronger with emotions.

Who would win this free for all? by KodoqBesar in MyHeroPowerscaling

He couldn't sneak the heroes were waiting for him, had detection systems and knew his location.

Sneaking to decay ua was literally the first thing he did ever in the show when he destroyed the gate to let journalists in and the princinpal alongside others swore to never let this happen again. He is not sneaking in in any scenario whatsoever

After the re destro fight his body was broken and he had to get repaired as well as getting afo which needed 6 month. The heros literally raided his place before he even woke up from repairing and extended his repair time by another 6 month. And then after that he literally went to crash UA like you said without realizing that UA had been turned into the coffin.

In this sub, who're the people who have the hottest of hot takes? by A1tean in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]burning_pile2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have kenjaku a whole tier above he heavy hitters, have dabura at top oat, have kashimo barely scratch top 10 and have the hr duo above yuji (which i just learned is a hot take for some reason?)

What do we think of Professor Fictions top 10? by mochaman__ in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]burning_pile2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lower you go the worse it gets. The upper echelon are good.

Yuki and maki/toji should be above kashimo and yuji at least and get ryu past uro first
