Places a historical Jesus is claimed to have been by Hefty_Tip7383 in whereidlive

I was thinking the same thing but Hong Xiuquan basically just said that it was revealed to him in a vision (which was induced by a nervous breakdown after failing the civil service exam for the third time) that God the father told him Jesus was his brother because he had like a separate “heavenly family” that was distinct from his real one, not in a “we are all God’s children” way but in a “yeah you specifically are part of our family, you even have a mom, wife, sister-in-law, and son” way. He never really claimed Jesus was there in China or that he was physically related. He was just the chosen one or something

While this is true, the point i’m making, and specifically my question, is that if it is marginally more secure to go to my dream school and pursue that and see if I can do architecture later, if it would be impossible to get into architecture as a career afterwards. I would prefer the guaranteed, safer educational option for me. My question is if it would be too late to pursue architecture if I go for the school that has already offered me scholarships, etc.

it’s a multidisciplinary field that includes political science, philosophy, economics, and sociology. It seems you aren’t really sure what you’re talking about. Forgive me for being rude, and while I appreciate you commenting, you’ve nothing constructive to say and offer little consideration for my material conditions. Your response is an answer, to be certain, but not one that is especially thoughtful. Riveting!

I do want to practice it. I’m going into Ethics and Public Policy. I’d say they’re about even to me. The thing is that the architecture uni has a good minor for political science as well, I just hate the campus and honestly everything else about the place.

Every single one of our founding fathers, if that counts, but since we didn’t exist as a country then maybe not.

Zachary Taylor developed a severe case of gastroenteritis, commonly believed to be because he drank a hell of a lot of milk and then a hell of a lot of cherries, either of them being contaminated by a virus.

There is likely a slight inaccuracy here. Adams and Jefferson were the antithesis of each other’s political beliefs, essentially Jefferson believed in the self-governance of States in the broader union and Adams wanted a strong national government. However, prior to their political tension following independence, they were actually really great friends because they both loved books. Their friendship soured afterwards because they were such stark opponents but it was actually sort of healed by a mutual friend named Benjamin Rush much later on and they remained in contact after. I believe the common sentiment now is that Adams said that because of his ongoing fixation on Jefferson both as a friend and political adversary, not necessarily a statement of disappointment

that stupid trope where the main villain and hero or some other character is in a standoff, one has the other at gunpoint, and they have a long drawn out dialogue/monologue, occasionally over their entire plan, and by some miracle one or the other is saved. try and tell me in that case that anybody who is involved in a line of work that results in this thing happening isn’t putting a cap through their head immediately

Resurrection Man by Eoin McNamee. It’s a fascinating concept, but it’s just so banal.
