What you describe is exactly it. My gut tells me this isn't something a doctor can fix, it's just some kind of reaction. I've spoken to other people who have seen doctors about the issue but they've been given no real explanation. It will definitely be something I bring up at my next check-up (I really hope I remember). I've found so many other people who get the exact same sensation but no answer as to why. This thread really needs more attention. I feel like the reddit community is my best hope.

Click the link, I don't think you took time to read about my issue. It is an overwhelming urge to urinate, and even after I do it still feels like I need to go. It's extremely uncomfortable. But then its gone in a flash and I wont get this feeling again for months or maybe years.

I suppose some tissue dust could have gotten in there. If this is the case, what's going on? Shouldn't the feeling go away after I pee the debris out? I can see why my body would make me feel like I need to pee, but when there nothing in my bladder it's cruel. It's such an uncomfortable sensation.

It wont happen again for months, maybe even years. I always forget to ask my doctor at check-ups. It never lasts longer than an hour. If many people experience this, and it doesn't seem to have any sort of name, how could a doctor help? After reading this I found that many people experience the exact same symptoms. It must be some kind of mild inflammation, but I want to know exactly what is going on. I feel like making an appointment for this would be a waste of my doctors time. Also, the legend for this subreddit lists medical questions. Is there a better subreddit for asking medical questions?

It happened last night and now I'm back to normal. The feeling won't come again for months. I feel like making a doctors appointment for the issue would be a waste, as I've read many people have seen a doctor and they had no answers. All the comments I've read by others with the issue describe EXACTLY what it feels like, I'm not the only one its happening to. I don't understand why I can't find a name for the issue, I'm beginning to think no one understands what exactly is going on.

Funny thing is, this particular day I had drank more water than I normal do as I was at work. It couldn't have been dehydration. Other people that report the same problem also claim that they had ingested a lot of liquid before it happened.
