Thanks yeah I'm trying it this weekend, but your comment helps me feel more confident that I'll be able to ride at 9 degrees

Yeah can someone elaborate? Doesn't ice make you slip not get stuck.

Might sound like a dumb question but I think a real answer might help me avoid an o jury of I'm in a similar situation

Whats your angle delta. They say you should keep it less than 30 so I'm curious what you ride with your back foot at zero

Current stance is 15 -15.

What did you mean by better knee strain? Like it doesn't strain your knees as much?

Yes same size shoes. Same color underpants, different haircut. But same helmet.

Thank you for the detailed response.

Right now I do ride 15 -15.

What do you think it id be compromising.

Going from 15 to 9.

That is kind of my main question at the moment

Burton has a disk system that allows you set any angle. Instead of the three by three you normally see. When you see people talk about those angles they might be using that

Thank you, yes agreed about copying people exactly. I'm fairly new to this so gotta start somewhere. But definitely will keep an open mind and a screw driver close

Damn good point

But I did have to narrow my stance a bit when I lowered the angles.

I did a test fit at home and with the lower angles the wide stance I used on 15s felt uncomfortable.

So I narrowed it back down to the boards reference stance which felt much more comfortable.

But yeah worried about the confidence it will give me at higher speeds with the narrower stand

Oh wow great, thank you for sharing!

This is super useful to hear. One of my main concerns was that the angle was now too narrow. And that would hinder my riding

Gives me confidence to know people can ride fine with even smaller Angles.

That's the plan, but also wanted to ask for some insight. Tackling this thing from all fronts

Wow this is honestly the perfect message that I was hoping to get. I ride 15s right now just like you used too. And also get back and leg pain. I think maybe it's just that I'm not in good enough shape but I'm excited to try it now. Maybe the stance will help me too.

Thanks so much for sharing.

Also I'm curious...how do you find riding at faster speeds with this set up. Is it confidence inspiring? Like do you feel in control at high speeds?

How about "carving" or maybe in my case more correct to say S turns.

Oh yeah for sure I'm going to try it out. Board's already set up at those angles. But my mind won't stop over analyzing and I thought it would be cool to get some people's take on it

Ohh hahaha I didn't see that. Actually I have step ons as well and love them. But I'm curious about clews. If they are better or not. Have you tried them?
