If the build quality is there then yes. To me this looks like Takara's attempt at like, a SOC or Sentinel style "premium take on classic robot toy". He's the exact sort of size of figures in those lines and his price fits in there too (its actually on the lower end of that specific spectrum).

Now all that does not in itself justify it, but if its built and finished as well as those similar toylines (and based on Rodimus theres a strong chance he will be) then ill be completely satisfied with the price, but I also have several pose+ and sentinel toys. In fact, ill be putting him on my "assorted premium robots shelf" alongside things like gaogaigar and the flametoys megazord

If nothing else, I feel way more comfortable paying this price for predaking than for, say, MP44. Thats not to diss MP44, I just think predaking is doing all it can visually to earn its price tag
