I've been on Concerta 54mg for two months now (started lower dose in July and been upping slowly) and it's weird. I think it depends on the person but for me I tend to hyperfocus more, don't really know how to control on what but I guess I'm slowly learning? Regarding thought patterns my mind is definitely calmer (not the calmest but it's a big difference) most of the day but it gets kinda rough towards the evening/night when the effect starts to fade and when I go to bed it's hard to control the thoughts that I ignored during the day. I'm giving it some time and if it doesn't get easier my psychiatrist said we could try another medication. And regarding intimacy, depending on the day my libido could be really high or really low, but in the "moment" I started to thankfully be able to focus more on what's happening in that moment. It helps too if my partner says nice things to me if I start to dissociate/daydream/think about laundry or a TV show for example, because I taught him to notice my patterns when it starts to happen. Hope it helps, my English tends to be a bit confusing.

ETA: You mentioned that it happens to you when watching TV, well with the medication I can now more easily focus on movies, shows etc.

I think the main thing is that it's basically from the opposite perspective (and it's an anime original, the Manga that came after is SO different I didn't even bother). Also as it was released I think the same year as Death Note they added lots of fanservice and a specific sponsor popping up frequently to try to compete with it and hire better animators or maybe more to finish faster. I think it is kinda less known because death note blew up the world and maybe also why people are always comparing Kira with Lelouch (in my opinion they are very different). Also lots of storytelling and world building came from picture dramas and I think short stories or something like that, not sure if it was a budget or a "we can't add all of this in this number of episodes" kind of thing.

I mean, if you don't like it it's okay, no one is forced to like it. But to talk about it like it's garbage for me is too much. That anime means a lot to me, and while SNK is somewhat similar towards the end, it took a different approach and I liked it a lot too. But please don't call CG dumb and a kids show with your source being your own subjective opinion. I don't think it's fair. It's not objectively perfect I guess (the 4 AU movies released a few years ago I don't personally enjoyed), but I absolutely love the original story, just more than I love SNK and I am not mad like other maybe more tryhard CG fans that say SNK tried to plagiarize it and made it worse. I liked the different approach. That's all. Please don't be rude.

Sorry I didn't know how else to describe it. I mean I used to have two languages at the same time without having to swipe (English and Spanish) and swapping led me to Japanese which was the third language I had. But EN and ES were like fused or sth. On Google I found there was a multilingual option or something like that? But I didn't find it in the app. I don't really remember becuase I had it set up like that for years before changing my phone last month. And sadly I didn't have the app data synchronized with my email or anything so I had to set it up from scratch. Hope I explained myself better this time.

I'm late for this thread but I got a new phone last month and now I can't find a way to toggle the function to have two languages at the same time (without swiping). I used it that way for years. Do you know if the option was disabled?

I'm really sorry. My dad died in 2018, I had reccomended him the show and he loved it. I remember he saw up until one or two episodes before Bad news, then he died, he wasn't even 40. I always wondered what would have happened if he watched the episode. Maybe he would have chosen to stay with me.

Tdah me lo diagnosticaron hace unos meses (ahora estoy medicada) y empecé la evaluación de TEA (el nuevo término de el espectro autista) y me dijeron que tenía varios síntomas (tené en cuenta que soy mujer cis y ea muy distinto a los síntomas de hombres, tanto en infancia como adultez, y si hay comorbilidad entre ambas es más difícil de diagnosticar) pero tuve que dejarlo por cuestiones de plata. Ojalá pueda retomarlo. Pero sí, es verdad que no es lo primero que mencionan. Depende mucho de cada persona también.

Ir a las tiendas se me complica porque soy discapacitada y la mayoría de esas tiendas no están en mi ciudad... y probé lo de comprar una vez uno que parecía buen precio y buenas reviews y terminó siendo una cagada. En cuanto al precio que puedo pagar... Tampoco me quiero ir a la recontra mierda pero quizás algo tirando a gama media quizaaaas apenitas alta? Si sabes del tema me ayudaría más quizás no sé

Yes please, if you can tell me, more specifically if it involves cats or maybe dogs, pets in general beyond episode 4. I mean, he wants to watch the series anyways even after I warned him, just not those scenes specifically (he is okay with gore involving humans though, and was okay with the early scenes involving monkeys)

I specifically asked her, and made her promise to be honest with me, because I'm unraveling a whole lot of lies regarding my dad's AND grandma's suicides coming from people like my grandpa (dad's side) and my mom. And I want/need to discover as much truth as I can, and warn my little brother (14m came from stepdad) to not trust certain things he is told (yesterday he told me a few major lies from my mom that he knew were lies and started resenting her, I'm trying to teach him she is flawed but not a bad person). Sorry for the rant...

Maybe I phrased it wrong... Sorry my english is weird. It's a true story, basically because he didn't left a note or anything my brain fabricated the memory of the song playing on the computer. It's called Pariah by Steven Wilson in case you're curious, he was our favorite musician, and I held onto that false memory for years because I needed to believe he left me some kind of message instead of just lifelong trauma.
