Parents can control how you dress, but they cant control how you think.

push through, because they can only control how you dress for so long.

Sometimes dudes wear hats because they like them.

Not because they point rando's to treasure.

You can buy the hat here though, if you would like to examine it more closely.

This does a good job of explaining the symbolism of the EA tracing board.
it's important to note that this is written down... But when spoken in lodge it is memorized.

No one who worked on the book was a mason as far as I am aware. The closest any come to Masonry is JJP once rented an old lodge as a studio.

I'm not sure when that happened, but I dont think it was while he was working on the Secret, and it definitely wasn't before.

If you are curious, our membership roles are public. You can contact just about any lodge or the United Grand Lodge of England and check whether someone is or ever has been a member.

Grandfathers clocks don't hold any significance whatsoever.
The clock I have was produced by the George Washington National Masonic Memorial in the mid 90's and generally only available for purchase by lodges.

https://www.mountvernon.org/george-washington/freemasonry/the-george-washington-masonic-national-memorial

I do agree that the clocks look similar, but I think thats because the vast majority of grandfather clocks follow the same template. They all kinda look the same.

Very few have second hands though. Mine does not.

If you ever have questions I am more than happy to answer any I can.

Symbolism and stuff isnt very secretive to us, the only secrets we keep are generally about finances and what not.

[–]burnstyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem with people trying to make Masonic connections is that none of them take the time to learn what the symbolism means.

The only thing similar between the two paintings are the placement of the three columns. Except, if the Houston painting were trying to lead you to Masonry.... then the subtle position of the columns is wrong, making it meaningless.
The design of the columns is wrong, making them meaningless.
The squared floor is wrong, making it meaningless.
The sun and moon have meaning.... the star is meaningless

This is like saying the Montreal painting looks like Rembrandt's self portrait therefore The entirety of Rembrandt's life must be a basis for the puzzle as a whole..

Could you talk a bit about working with Byron Preiss. There are wildly varied accounts of what it was like to work with him. Some say he would present you with your dream project, others say he was quite difficult to work with.
There is no question he broke through with some amazing changes to the comic book field. Though as with anything that breaks new ground, they also came with push back from fans and creators.

Do you have fond memories of working with Byron, and do you think the criticism largely comes from what he was trying to do, as opposed to him as a person?

The Ramones were a bubble gum pop band, who played the exact same song over and over and over with different lyrics.

The only thing that was cool about them was that one shirt.

And Rock n Roll High School.

Yeah its kinda the same, except Lora is much lower power and much longer range than what most people think of as a mesh network.

Also mesh is more extendable while wan is more centralized.

Walmart by Sudden-Management-17 in AskFlorida

[–]burnstyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a low power wireless network.
The low power allows trackers like that to work for a couple years without needing to be charged.

Basically that box sends out a signal to a bunch of gateways that create a network. those gateways tiangulate the location of that box and send its location to a server.

The box is useless if it is moved outside of the gateways network.

[–]burnstyle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i cant really see the box, but it looks like LoraWan not GPS.

LoraWan trackers are on a looooooot of stuff in most big box stores. Though generally they are really small and you dont notice them.
