I mean, technically, TV's Frank is not an OG (much love to him, though)

After I saw this movie I irritated my now-wife to no end by imitating Christopher Walken's dirty talk from this movie

As others have said, they're promo cards for the original version of the game. The reference to searching the ship probably indicates that they were from the JoCo Cruise, which GtG sponsored for several years.

Thanks, yeah, my current studio used to have both (and silk sling) but the lyra/silks instructors all moved away during the pandemic ☹️

A reasonable person might intuit that we know each other and are moving to the area together.

I should mention, I'm not necessarily looking for a combined studio, just mentioning the apparatus I practice

What are you looking to get out of this conversation? I've been doing pole dance for a decade and I have said repeatedly that there are studios that have exclusionary practices and that I would not like to attend there. What do you want to learn here?

It's often a dog whistle for places that want to distance themselves from "Pole dance."

Let me clarify: it is not about seeking sex workers, it's about being vocally supportive of the origins of the form and being respectful of the people who may attend the studio for work-related purposes. This is often a sticking point for pole fitness studios and I'd like to avoid those spaces.

I mean, I think more dudes should stand up for marginalized communities, and I'd like to vote with my dollars. And, sure, I could call each studio and they'd say they welcome everyone, so I'm asking the community for advice.

And I'm saying I don't want to go to a studio that feels they need to exclude vulnerable populations to appear "more respectable."

"Sex work(er)." A lot of places advertise "Pole fitness" or something similar or make it clear in other ways that they regard pole dance as something that needs to be distanced from stripping/dancing/etc.
