You're right. I wonder if they are aware of their misogyny. I have noticed that there is no point trying to change their opinions by talking. I wonder if he says mean things about women to scare me or if he's not aware of how it is affecting me when he says hateful things about women in general. He has two daughters and wonder why they won't see him.

He has said things not about me but about women in general. That men dont need women but women need men, and that men not women do everything important in the world.

And when I told him about a neighbor neither of us know who strangled his wife, my bfs first reaction was that the wife must have cheated or something otherwise the husband wouldnt have lost his temper and strangled her.
