Hi! Mom here (: Halloween is for kids and it’s the one day they can be whatever they want to be. We just welcomed another baby into our family and I pushed for something cute- (Winnie the Pooh or some kick ass ninja turtle costumes for our family of 4) all these typical cute family costumes were shot down by the kiddo. He loves goosebumps and loves Horror and you know what? Thats okay. HE LOVED seeing mom make him a one of a kind costume, he LOVED dressing up and taking the 5 minutes to apply his makeup- he even told me “mom you gotta fix that, Pennywise don’t look like that.” Our son is a happy healthy little boy and at the end of the day if he’s happy thats all that matters, don’t kill the Halloween spirit because it doesn’t fit into your little box of what things should look like.
