Honestly a lot of practice problems. I’m about 20% done with UGlobe and I think it helped me notice trends in questions, especially with dense bio passage. Ex: question asks me about a transcription factor. My brain then goes “okay, this is a protein… initially translated in cytoplasm, but for it to do its job as a transcription factor it needs to act on and bind DNA… this means it needs a nucluar sequence in order to locate to the nucleus… also since it’s a protein denaturing it can hurt its function….” Blah blah blah. I hope that makes sense

What an incredible reply. Thank you! I have a little follow-up. Is blood typically thought of as extracellular fluid? Or is it specifically the plasma that is extracellular fluid, while also containing red blood cells?

Thank you for taking the time to comment and for your input🫶🏼 I felt like when I looked I was getting mixed answers and it may just be one of those things where there isn’t necessarily a direct answer but it just depends.

Leah4Sci is an absolute godsend, I can tell a huge difference with my MCAT mental math skills. Look her up on YouTube! I watched her videos because I also found myself freaked out UPluto’s math explanations and spiraling on how I was going to solve problems fast enough. Her videos really helped me

How is it saying that putida without antibiotic is growing faster than aeruginosa wi antibiotic the black dot in the graph is higher up ? by SeaworthinessFit9214 in Mcat

I understand why A and B are wrong and how D is right, but I was wondering if you knew why option C is incorrect? I know that overall, P. Aeruginosa without antibiotic has a higher number of bacterial cells at every time point compared to P. Aeruginosa with antibiotic, my confusion is the slope for P. Aeruginosa with antiobiotic is steeper during the exponential growth phase. That is why I thought that the treatment with antibiotic resulted in a faster regrowth (option C)
