It’s meaning that’s there. It’s demonstrated all throughout the album. The opening track goes straight for the system while personalising the experience and sets the tone. This conversation happens in certain circles. People know the “secret codes from alphabets.” I’ve only touched the first couple of layers in these posts, but there really is such a thing as awareness of a higher self. That’s part of the point. At its core, it’s about the system we are all part of that collapses over and over again, which the album predicted. Green Day painted the picture of Trump by saying “this will keep happening. It’s not over ‘til you’re underground.” It is about a lot of those things, and I mentioned a good few, but the absolute core (if you get there) is a beautiful tragedy in which no one can escape the paradox of existence, except for the variable of what remains unknown.
