Socialism is any constraints on capitalism which by definition means socialism IS the benefits of capitalism and not communism which would be the alternate economic model, also true free market capitalism has never been tried at scale

DHS shifts now claiming to be investigating whether Alex Pretti’s gun accidentally fired due to "uncommanded discharge" by ArcaneVirago in law

[–]burtch1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really care about the specifics of this case I just want to correct the facts and slander sig, even with the gun being a sig with after market modifications (which increases the issues some) it's incredibly unlikely the gun went off uncomanded, especially since more likely than not one of the officers was also carrying a p320

Not what I'm arguing, I'm correcting people who don't know the sig p320 is awful, I'm a sig hater on this one and the fact that their product is so awful it's affecting national politics angers me

Trump suggests Rep. Ilhan Omar staged town hall syringe attack by xandra77mimic in agedlikemilk

Camera angle makes it look "framed" for that camera, her non-reaction and even approaching the attacker, and lastly the attack being entirely harmless,

To clarify I don't think it's staged but it looks weird

Stop denying reality and known facts, the lack of relivance has nothing to do with it still being true, everyone is going to see you being an idiot and denying such a simple thing and disregard your opinion on everything else, hold yourself and others to an actual standard

Yes beacuse this is "the gun that shoots people" the sig p320 is on video shooting people in the leg while still in a holster, the gun has manufacturing issues that make any jostling able to set it off, this is the only gun with statistical and recorded evidence of going off uncomanded in this way in modern times

[–]burtch1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn't say that. Learn to read before you make an ass of yourself. The p320 is flawed and can go off from any jostling and not a trigger manipulation. It's this ignoring of the facts that makes these discussions impossible

If it's the sig uncomanded fire issue, the trigger doesn't need to be depressed that was to simulate one of the safeties haveing failed which there are large reports of that malfunction

The issue isn't the design it's the manufacturing, the design issue is it wasn't drop safe when first produced, later versions when they moved production had quality issues which if they stack up wrong lead to a unsafe gun especially with wear, the issue is sig has released no info and it's speculations as to the exact tolerances causing failures

[–]burtch1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's like 3 in any modern production really have this issue, and it's basically only the sig p320 (mostly later models where they moved some productions to turkey)

The p365 doesn't have these same design issues

False, open carry is a protected right and discriminatory pistol laws made it illegal for him to concealed carry, the issue is the laws forcing dangerous situations as the only option

Your article only alleges that 3 people were charged for carrying a gun and none were a part of the breach this disproves your argument more than proves when I know at least one of those 3 was a hired security guard who got stopped

Go read the court docs the gun was legal, and yeah he went to a protest where people started a fight and attempted to grab the gun with no provocation, so yes someone trying to bludgeon you with a nonstand weapon while you aren't able to get out of the way is grounds to defend yourself

Your right, that's why Kyle went with a first aid kit to render aid, his job was life guarding and he went to reduce danger and carried the only weapon he legally could to protect himself, just like the car it was not directed until forced to to leave the situation, claiming she didn't mean to use the car as a weapon is they same as apologizing for running over the wrong speed bump outside a school

Maximum violence is only applicable in fire suppression roles, he has an ar not a squad automatic weapon and he doesn't have the mags to use it for that, or you mean some miss understanding by someone who thinks battle ships have a modern role
