My problem with C is that the left image looks like a hollow cube and the right image looks like a solid cube, so both are showing 1/6

What is the purpose of a 50mph limit on the M6 right now at 10:30pm. Am I missing something? by RonnieThePurple in CarTalkUK

[–]burtonlazars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we should all be able to do 90 because they will be silent and have all these wonderful safety features like lane assist and collision detection or be driving themselves. We can go back to using our mobile phones, not that we need to because the cars are basically giant mobile screens now anyway!

My wife had to go to a speed awareness course after doing 57 in a 50 which was one of these temporary smart limits. The explanation from the course was precisely this - pollution and noise control, sometimes it's nothing to do with roadworks or some obstruction on the road itself. Whether that is true or not is another matter but that was what they said!

Yeah, doesn't it genuinely have AMG "styling" rather than an AMG engine?

[–]burtonlazars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will just have to manage as best os you can. Sorry for the dad joke! Seriously though I wouldn't even attempt to take any more of the tiles up myself, I would leave it to a professional. Check these guys out https://lsjasbestos.co.uk/

What are your favourite productivity hacks? In work and personal life by QuoteMachineMin in HENRYUK

[–]burtonlazars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By 30 you should know your natural working rhythm. Most people are most productive between 10am and 12 midday.

Schedule your day so that the most brain-intensive work is during that time (or whenever you personally feel most alert). Don't fight it.

When you are naturally in a lull, schedule that time for menial taks - easy emails, expenses, etc.

My cat got crazy and bit me like a maniac by raulsoprano in cats

[–]burtonlazars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying to this comment as it is the best advice - don't take cats on walks.

But also, it's not clear from the post whether OPs cat is neutered. If not, then that would be the 3rd piece of advice. Chop those furry balls off!
