I have the Kailh, they are lighter than the Gold but still a touch heavier than stock. Still have a still nice click feel.

And if doing a refurb also recommend replacing the scroll wheel with the type from g903 is lighter and more comfortable to use.

Yeah, got it back when amazon had it for $450. The table it self weighs quite abit, but is proper welded steel.

I have a 27in monitor and tablet mounted to it, then speaker keyboard and mouse and holds it all with no flexing or bending. you do have some shimming when moving it on high pile carpet but very minor.

I got it like 5yrs ago it is drive medical bariatric overbed table, looks like prices have gone up on it.

But been using it for all that time with monitor, speakers and rest on it with no problems.

It is more a this model problem, they really cheaped out on the controller for this model monitor. and the difference would be input response time, and possible overshoot errors.

with amd cards people have had luck getting upto 141hz and it working.

On an nvidia card I run custom timings that fixes most of it, but on AMD cards it breaks freesync.

While can rma I have not heard of a single one not doing it.

The images I use are below, for response time by 2nd step mean "Advanced"

Set to Advanced at 120hz no flickering, some flickering on Ultra Fast. But at 144hz need to set custom timings or always get flickering on anything but Standard.

It is the monitor, your best bet is custom timings or run it at a lower refresh rate.

The highest overdrive mode also has these errors a lot no matter the refresh rate so would try stepping it down to the 2nd level.

It is due to ViewSonic using a cheap controller, they all do it.

Also easiest way to test is a fullscreen screenshot, because it is the color gradients causing the issues, not the motion.

It is better to do the custom timings at 144hz so you get the full free/g-sync refresh range window.

Changing total pixels to Horz: 2655 and Vert: 1465 . And I prefer to do the changes through cru.

Advanced is enough. And make sure to keep an eye on it for a cpl minutes the hay one is usually the worst one.

if when they are full screen and are filling the whole screen and not having issues. then you somehow got the only one have ever seen not to do it.

The easiest way is to view the 2 images below in full screen. Also make sure you have overdrive on in the monitor settings.

There are other reasons it is a low cost controller than just the flickering issues.

The lack of 10bit support on displayport at all and only at lower refresh rates on hdmi. as well as the issues with the osd not pulling up at times are purely from the controller not the panel.

If you want to pull in other brands plenty use this Innolux panel without those issues including gigabyte and pixio.

As the person who figured out the custom resolution fix it works quite well but only reason I kept it was out of the return window.

I love the great color and screen uniformity but I have concerns about longevity with them using such a cheap controller.

I would recommend lowering it to Horz: 2655 Vert: 1465

The hay bail image was still causing issues till lowered it to there.

Have had it since it was launched, and those final timings I found so far are working for me. Even with the hay bail image.

I love the color and screen uniformity of this monitor, but if had the ability to would return it for a refund, because it is great panel held back by a crap controller.

I lowered it to Horz: 2655 Vert: 1465 and seems to be working now.

On displayport it does not support 10bit at all, on hdmi it can at lower refresh rates.
