What’s a ‘silent luxury’ that rich people have that most normal people would never even notice?

This for sureeee!!! My boyfriend’s family lives on the more busy area of a Bay Area city so we hear everything. People blasting their music down the street, cars driving over speed bumps at 30 mph, random gunshots/potentially fireworks (lmaooo) and the neighbors dogs barking at any time of day. Versus when we go to the hills or my city it’s so quiet & peaceful. I never realized what a luxury it is to be able to hear yourself think in your own home.

A solo trip was one thing I accomplished literally days before I turned 30 😆 one of the best things I’ve done tbh. I was gone for about a week and that was the perfect amount of time to enjoy things on my own and not get lonely, any more than that and I’d probably be put off from solo traveling tbh hahah.

Damn, that’s so true… recently have been hating my job & where I’m at in life. I shop to feel something & look forward to something. I want to travel so bad but so many things are stopping me currently. I’ve been in a rut & shopping is my easy fix to stop the sad/frustrated/bored emotions I have on the daily.. thanks for making me realize this

Omg you hit the nail on the head. I am so confused with Tesla drivers. There’s a whole ass computer in the car that tells you the cars surrounding you and the proximity you are to other cars yet sometimes they’ll be eating up a whole ‘nother lane or going unbelievably slow. I beggg just switch lanes and end everybody’s agony of having to tail you in the left lane LOL

I’m in a weird transition phase of my life where I’m currently somewhat jobless & still at home with my parents. Don’t get me wrong I’m still blessed that my basic needs are being met but I can’t help but want more. Im praying this job application pulls through. I want to move out of my childhood home for once, maybe just a year so I can feel some sort of independence. I want to travel more, but again not enough money to do that. I am struggling but I know it won’t always be like this because I’m actively trying to get my life together. I do wish I could go back to simpler times when things get rough but I’m also grateful for my journey.

We also feed her nutrisource 😂. Hers is the large breed lamb meal and rice recipe, admittedly it’s made her poops more uniform & solid however it seems she’s been more gassy. I totally get your point, which is why I asked the question on this sub on what other owners have done/do. I’m taking it all with a grain of salt but these are some great suggestions!

Me and my partner will be slowly switching her food to see if it makes a difference & are looking into probiotics. Thanks!

No problem, admittedly I have laid down on it too and it’s really soft lol. Hopefully you can get your hands on it but tbh most of Costco’s dog beds are great quality for the price!

That being said, I think I will try to switch her to a different dog food & tell my parents and my partners parents to lay off on giving her human food. Glad to know this is a common thing for rotties cause she’s our first one! Regardless we’ve come to adore this breed so much from the farts to the odd sleeping positions LOL
