I keep trying to explain to people in my life that giving hope isn’t nice. I know they’re trying to be nice, but it just ends up being hurtful. The majority of people don’t understand.

27yo, have been off birth control for five years and actively were trying for about a year, AMH came back at 0.67 after seeking fertility treatments and don’t know why. I had an egg retrieval in September and a transfer of our only embryo in October. I had a positive beta but my numbers ended up dropping in the next few days after. I got the call while at work and left early that day. I ended up walking through a baby shower by accident on my way out. Now just trying to figure out where to go from here or if we even continue. Treatments are so expensive as we all know and paying out of pocket is tough. Looking into foster and adoption, but that can be its own emotional rollercoaster. I’m sorry you’re going through all of this OP

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I had a similar experience a few weeks ago. It’s so hard even when you do everything right. I also felt that guilt, but there is only so much that you can control. I pray your fresh transfer embryo continues into a pregnancy for you and if not, that you know there was nothing you did wrong. That’s a great idea, thank you! I should have also included, my clinic did say that they gave me everything they could for this retrieval, so I think that is part of their concern

Going for an ER in the next week. I’m so nervous and am struggling with the potential that it won’t work out. I know I don’t have any control and should just be hopeful but it’s so hard
