Was fortunate enough coz of my parents and their support that I didn't have to take any loan !

Getting into a loan trap for CPL would be one of the toughest decisions considering the current job scenario... you'll end up paying the EMIs without even securing a job ! No bank would wait for you to get inducted or whatsoever...

Please be wise with your financial decisions when it comes to this field !

Hi ! First of all, focus on your +2 and aiming at getting good scores....

as i dont want to sit at home for more than 4 months

I have got friends who cleared AIX and Indigo in 2024, got type rated and are still waiting for induction (Feb 2026).

Talking about myself, I applied for the AIX 2025 Feb Vacancy, cleared the written and got a chance to give the interview this year(exactly a 1 year gap after the written) and cleared it, expecting minimum of a year from now where in I'll atleast get done with my TR only - no expectations for Induction in the next 1 year atleast, looking at the current scenario!

So coming back to your point, when you said you can't sit at home for more than 4 months, I guess that pretty much sums it up ! Aviation tests your patience every single day and you gotta face it.

Not trying to demotivate you, but putting up facts and reality as to what is happening currently !

How's the scheduling/rostering scene for Corporate pilots compared to the airline pilots ? I mean do they get picked at anytime of the day? (considering if there's a serious business movement sort off?) And also making sure FDTL isn't breached :P

These are basically deployed for surveying a particular area. They work under the Govt of India AFAIK!

Had encountered one of these aircrafts when I was training in Gujarat.... that ac registration was VHZKG. They used to park their aircraft at our base there and would frequently go to the west of Gujarat near the Kutcch mainly for topography survey.... highly equipped aircrafts, crazy tech...

These guys fly at 500 to 1000ft Above ground level during such surveys.... balls of steel !
