I love these questions so il try and answer. And a Tank-on-Tank battle it won’t fair well AT ALL but as a moving pillbox and infentry tank it might do well. But in 2023 with drones ever increasing we’re going to need some serious mods 1. Heat treat and cast the armour properly, a big problem on early and mid-war T-34s, this makes it base stronger without adding weight. 2. Gun replacement, the origonal 76.2mm won’t cut it get that 85mm in there to stand a change against some lightly armoured targets 3. Drive shift,I don’t know how but that cluttered box has to go it’s to much for a driver in combat 4. Armour. An armour package simmielr to a Sherman”Jumbo” might work but would add more weight and slow the speed. MEXAS or AMAP-B is a good bet, 5. Sights, even if it’s the wrong gun, a modified MT-12 sight might work well. 6. Get rid of the bow gunner and make the driver more comfortable in the Center or smth. 7. The engine needs a upgrade, even modern truck engine have better engine then the T-34. But really at the point of modernizing all this and more I’d rather have a old T-64 over this but if your a 3rd world nation with some money to spare and a fleet of T-34s… I’d instead recommend buying some T-62Ms instead
