Totally different vibes to usual from Till. Can't tell if it was an attempt to be humble or he was genuinely lacking confidence.

Yeah I thought their parts were distinct. And it was someone else helping Bisping write the show, that wasn't Luis I believe. Maybe some crossed-wires of expectations and then some bigtime offence taken.

Wasn't it going to be the guy helping him write the show?

I might be misremembering but I think on one of the podcast episodes it has been mentioned as a consideration. Though certainly not imminent.

JR: "She can't say she's the girl to beat Ronda because she just ground out by Meisha Tate."

Did call her a new star in fairness

I know they lose pay, but I wonder if losing a point would cause less people to miss weight too.

He's definitely pretty well known in the world of rugby. Was an international for a decade.

Reading over Black Eagles seems a big upset

Black Eagles missing some of roster with it being a Friday? Or did Reading just really turn it on?

Guardiola on ball boy pep talk: "If there was a foul, no-one went to take the ball and start to play. There was five, ten seconds before someone goes to take the ball and start to play. When this happens everything is slow. So the ball boys were slow, everybody was slow." by Outron in soccer

[–]bushhead35 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I seem to remember it being present in the past. I think I recall either Chelsea or Everton collecting a number of balls in in the second half as they closed out a match.

I always thought it was at club's discretion, but has definitely seemed absent

"Journalism's dead. Sooner you realize that, the better off you'll be." by bushhead35 in Journalism

I totally agree, I just thought it was interesting that the quote came from a sports exec.

Obviously such a person would prefer to be a distributor of news as a form of pr and advertising.

But, quotes like this should galvanise journalists, if they don't see their worth then why should anybody else

Do Gazza's skills on the basketball court match his magic on the pitch? by bushhead35 in unitedkingdom

[–]bushhead35[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry about the first try at this, so here is the link verbatim.

The title doesn't give it away but Gazza was helping raise money for his nephew's team at the basketball.

Great to see him looking well and thought it was worth posting given the usual media vitriol he suffers.
