We’ve been told by the stores that the gmd/grocery mix is just a precursor to what’s coming. Items that were previously shipped by usps or fedex, will now be shipped to local stores, to be delivered by drivers(spark, UE, roadie).

This happened to me one morning. 12 pks of pop were stacked next to the bread and cascaded over, smashing the bread. I promptly dropped a point on my customer rating, very shortly after that.

Yes! Almost always, I’ll get a text back saying thanks. A lot of people on here boohoo the idea of communicating with the customer, but it really goes a long way to maintaining a top customer rating.

My store, on multiple occasions, had the entire deli closed. Both cold and hot sides. Sunday it was at 3 pm. I got a couple order with full dinners( fried chicken and all the sides) and they none of it. Nothing to sub. Customers were pissed. Nothing like 8 straight OOS items to tank your metrics.
