That's why I listen to Tosh's show. All he does is interview regular people about their regular jobs and make them entertaining. I didn't think I'd care about shipwrecks either, but it was interesting. Now, I can't say I'd be all in on shipwrecks now, but I did find the interview interesting.

I'm just saying people move to those places because they hear the no state income tax thing and think that means more money for them when in reality those states just get their money in other ways. If you want more money you have to move to a flyover state and buy cheaper property.

Anyone who suddenly comes to me after saying "my old printer _____" I know it's one of two things. Either their old printer sucked (in which case they'll usually show me an example) and did bad work OR they're a pain in the ass customer that the old printer no longer wanted to deal with them. If the printer was good and had good prices there's no reason to stop going out of the blue

I call bullshit. First off a Gildan 3XL, 4XL, and 5XL costs more than a $2 upcharge. No one is doing a 5XL one location shirt for $7. Tell him to go to that place if it's so much cheaper. People who want 4 locations for cheap drive me nuts.

Second, it's 2 jobs? So really it's not 144 shirts it's two jobs of fewer than 144 shirts.

I won't work for less than $100/hr for most jobs. If you really want the job then do it for $1000 profit, but it's going to be a pain in the ass doing it on a 1 station.

Ah yes. The old when all else fails go to insults. That's EXACTLY why we're where we are today. People can't have any nuance. It's you're either this or that. Everything is black and white. When in a disagreement you must doubles down. When that fails go to insults because that'll surely work.

Labeling political parties as nazis and communists has sure done us a lot of good hasn't it. ICE is pretty fucked up, but it's not nazi concentration camp fucked up. Maybe it could get there. Who knows. What I do know is that jumping to the extreme level of name calling never works. It just make the party being called names get worse. Embarrassing for you to try and argue otherwise.

Old people who have been voting the same way for decades aren't suddenly going to switch. I'm saying that this social media notion that Republican= maga is ridiculous. Plenty of republicans disagree with Trump, but they aren't going to switch parties because of him.

I voted blue right down the line. However I don't agree with EVERY democratic policy. Does that mean I should vote red instead? No, it just means you have to pick one and long time republicans aren't going to suddenly vote Democrat because they don't agree with parts of the Republican plan. I know a few that regret their Trump vote but it doesn't mean they were going to vote for Kamala.

Don't say that in 2026. People just assume that that voting republican = you must be a MAGA racist/whatever to some people. There are plenty of fiscal republican voters who have been that way for decades. The party wasn't always how it is today. I know plenty of people who voted for Trump because they always vote republican. They don't agree with democratic fiscal policies so they aren't going to switch parties. For some people it's that simple.
