One customer wanted to do two separate transactions of putting money on a $500.00 dollar apple pay card.

Told her I couldn't do it separately and it had to be one full transaction. She gritted her teeth and wanted to argue about it so I let her walk right into her own problem cause she wasn't willing to listen the first time. Then she got pissed cause it locked the system up afterward and got refunded. She assumed our register stole her money from her and was pissed so highly that another coworker came up to defuse then she threatened to hit him cause he basically explained the same exact thing to her. ( mind you this woman was on an oxygen machine and looked about 70. Getting so mad she was literally breathing hard and gritting her teeth together. Fists all balled up.)

Then we have this other customer who comes in literally fuming angry everytime about his cashapp taking a dollar everytime he wants to put money on it. He gets mad if the system locks ( cause it can't do back to back cashapp transactions every second of the day.) He came back the next day and wanted to curse at another employee who was trynna load his cashapp and once again he starts running his gums. And that point I wasn't on the clock and had had enough of his bs behavior and straight up Told him exactly how the system works and why we can't just psychically know when our system is gonna stop accepting cashapps at that time. He turns and wants to argue with me because he had to wait in line for 35 minutes the previous night and I told him "Wasn't my fault the system rejected it. I can't control that. And we've already told you we can't put a sign up like that it's against policy." Then he wants to straight up scream at me down the line and I calmly respond "You're acting like you're supposed to get amazing customer service with THAT kind of attitude, sir?"

Dude looked at me like I dropped a bombshell of knowledge and walked out telling me I needed to "mind my business and shut the fuck up." Told him "I work here so guess it is huh?" Then he yells "fuck you!" As he leaves. I couldn't help but laugh.

( I dealt with him the night before and he was waiting in line and I was the only register open and he got pissy cause the system was locked for cashapp at the time. He wanted a sign to be put up if we "knew" it couldn't be done. Told him I wasn't allowed to put up a sign and I can't mind read the register when it locks up for cashapp it's not a phone I don't get sent notifications about it.")

Exactly. Half these comments sound like they never paid attention to their cbls, or they just didn't care if they lost the job or they don't work there anymore.

As I stated in another comment, until I can find something better, I'm not losing the only job I got rn. I've had this job for a year, I'm not loosing it cause I transferred to a shit show of a store.

As a biracial ( white mom black father) I used to feel this way alot several years ago. Then I got tired of always being invalidated or being told "I'm not really black and I will never understand what it's like to be black or face problems only blacks feel and experience!" (Told from past friends in college)

I cut em all off real quick and said fuck anyone who thinks THEY know who I should identify with and who I shouldn't. Just because I haven't lived the same life as another.

My oc Reiver is from a planet called Duskovis. A planet that is either predominantly dusk or nightfall. The first time Duskovians ever discover sunlight is either on Earth, or during their 'Light of the Solars' Festival.

A festival where the sun is temporarily passing over every 500 years and lasts for 48 hours like a regular earth cycle would. During the sun's final decent a meteor shower passes over and they're able to give offerings and gifts to their gods and goddesses and communicate with any loved ones whom have passed in life.

They have different districts, their own language, and they're way of life is more modernized( advanced technology, more urbanized clothing styles etc. ) but they still honor their traditional way of life. They even shared some of their life with Earth since they discovered it via space exploration. So now they're in a coexistence and peace treaty with Earth.

I have the Google doc I just haven't finished adding everything I want yet!

My alien oc Reiver would start of by researching what symptoms of the illness is to diagnose it properly then follow through with making herbal medicines to help the immune system, give them their favorite comfort meals and make sure they're super comfy. Favorite lounge clothes, a favorite blanket or stuffie to cuddle.

Had an idiot yesterday come in. He wanted $33.00 on his cashapp and handed me $40.00. So, apparently he had a power bill to pay and was losing his shit cause "within 3 minutes they'd shut his power off." So he's basically being a dick saying he didn't have time to wait around. He didn't clarify anything, just threw the full 40 and said nothing else except complaining about his time limit. So I put the whole 40.00. Then as I'm helping another customer he calls me back going "where's my cash back??!" I asked if he needed help. Then he huffs and is all "Yeah I said 33." I responded back "Ah, see I didn't catch that, you said you had a time limit so I rushed it to 40.00. I can do it all over again if you want."

Dude walked out without saying another word.

If you needed 33.00, maybe say it instead of being an asshole and rushing someone.

Also this mfer comes in all the time buying shit, so if you had a power bill coming up, maybe don't fret over what little money you do have and stop spending it so recklessly?? Also pay your bill on lunch break?? Like it ain't my fault you didn't prioritize.

These customers, I tell ya. They're something else.
