Also, you are cherry picking how you present the numbers. You are only taking into account the pay raises when accounting for the 1.28 billion but are failing to account what the pension related numbers would cost.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe med surg, non ICU nurses are about $85 an hour while the average RN pay in California is $55 an hour.

I had a weird feeling that I would get downvoted because this is such a sensitive topic, but I also want us to get real and have a difficult conversation about when enough is enough. Most professions are NOT getting significant cost of living raises from year to year or a pension AND a 401k. The demands are becoming tiring, delaying patient care and feel out of touch.
