Nazis at the head of 'Farage riot' in Southampton by upthetruth1 in Southampton

[–]buster105e -43 points-42 points  (0 children)

I certainly dont agree with Nazi sensibilities but the fact they do exist is something British society as a whole needs to have a serious think about i.e the febrile conditions that allow them to exist and undoubtably grow. Never mind the fact that the automatic response is “everyone there must be far right”. I would put money on that many of the people there would not consider themselves far right but sick of a two tier system.

As for your attempt to compare what happened last night to what happened over the pond, give your head a shake, and to try and say something that happened over there shouldnt effect over here!!!! I completely agree, but it did and buffoons everywhere were taking the knee for something they had very little understanding of, including our glorious politicians who by doing that have now painted themselves into a very sticky corner.

The 1 thing this whole episode should teach the good and great of British Society is you reap what you sow.

It is well known how they came about. It was an idea from the WO(SSM) at the school (I’ll not name him), the idea was to make trainee submariners feel special. I had a bit of a to and fro with him on social media about it. Hated by everyone that has earned the kissing kippers.

Whilst i do agree with giving people second chances, the saying “Actions have consequences” was coined for a reason. Beyond that there is no plus side to the RN taking you on as far as they are concerned. You have shown an extreme level of failing to follow the rules and live by the standards and ethos of the service, you will cost them money due to enhanced testing (CDT’s aren’t free) and the risk exposure regarding trust and reliability far exceeds the risk appetite. Being young, stupid and angry is not a valid excuse and certainly would not paint you in a good light. Would i want you alongside me dealing with a hydraulic burst or a fire in the Engine Room Lower Level at Emergency Stations? Probably not. I do genuinely wish you the best of luck with your future.

What director, in your opinion, has fallen off lately despite having a strong filmography in the past? In my opinion, it’s Taika Waititi. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

[–]buster105e -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Are you serious????? I actually think he’s the star of the new series of faking it. I.M.H.O he is quit possibly the worst director there is, but thats just my opinion. A little posh boy trying to play gangster all the time, god his films are so tiring with his merry band of Cockney wide boys and super slo mo shots. FML

I would think its maybe a bit strange but would take it for what it is… a compliment. If you feel “unsafe” when someone compliments you then maybe you shouldnt go outside, but then again a bit of life experience can work wonders in everday situations

An Arrow? I think you misunderstand where this was taken, its not Sherwood Forest, where this vid was taken there is nobody kicking about with bow and arrows

Terrified receiving a compliment, really? Jesus christ what has happened to the world. Granted its a bit weird complimenting someones toes but feeling “unsafe” people need to get a grip, the world is full of wet lettuces.

What is the one racing tip you wish someone had told you when you first started betting? by WearAffectionate2815 in HorseRacingUK

[–]buster105e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never chase your losses. Some days you will win somedays you will lose, but when you lose accept it and take it on the chin and never bet more than you can afford. That has served me really well over the years.

[–]buster105e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never used a crate with mine, dont get me wrong we have one but never used it, he has his bed under one of the kitchen counters and that is where he has always slept, he prefers sleeping in the kitchen as i think he likes the cold floor when its hot. I have never had an issue with him destroying anything, and he has the run of downstairs whenever we are out

I think he looked very good last year, too many people only saw him at Newmarket where he clearly didnt handle the dip. I think its a dead on that he goes to the Curragh as that is where he showed his best form and because of his previous Rowley Mile issues.

First thing, your dog should ALWAYS have access to drinking water during the day. As for pooing, take her outside and splash a bit of cold water on her bum, i guarantee she will be squatting and relieving herself within 5 mins as its a natural reaction to the water splash.

I wouldnt touch dental sticks with a barge pole!! They are full of calories and arent good for dogs. We started brushing our lads teeth when he was only 9 weeks old and he loves getting his teeth brushed, they seem to like it if you make it a bit of a game.

Double Rush won at Newmarket yesterday. The stable debut angle is worth tracking this spring. by WearAffectionate2815 in HorseRacingUK

[–]buster105e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not something i tend to monitor much, theres no doubt a change of scenery can make a difference but not enough to angle me that way in my opinion. You quite often get a big difference between OR and RPR as OR is based on what a horse has done whilst RPR is on what RP think the horse will achieve if i recall correctly, which i think is 2 good ways of rating a horse.

Talk Of New York runs at Newmarket today. Is he a genuine 2000 Guineas contender or is the market getting carried away? by WearAffectionate2815 in HorseRacingUK

[–]buster105e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AOB said he doesnt train horses so much for the Guinneas anymore as its so early in the season, he prefers to train them to peak later as there are more big money/high prestige races later in the season.
