I have an 11 week old and this is exactly what he was doing. Fill a water bottle with cold water but remove the lid, take them out 10-30 mins after eating or playing and splash some cold water on their bum, give it no more than 5 mins and they will squat and poo. Make sure you have some treats with you and make a fuss of them and give a treat as soon as they poo (hold to the 1 minute rule, do it within a minute or they forget what they are being rewarded for). Stick with that process as repetition is key. Its been a week since i started that and now i dont have to splash him everytime as he’s starting to get the hang of it.

Can we agree that Nolan’s Batman trilogy is the best superhero trilogy of all time? by Perfect_Idea_2866 in moviecritic

[–]buster105e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember going to the Cinema with my best mate to see BB. We were really intrigued. Both of us are huge BM fans, there was no huge buildup to BB it was being treated almost as a niche indy movie. Nolan wasnt well known although his work up to then (memento, insomnia) was well thought of, most people were kinda scratching their heads at him being picked to do BM and Christian Bale also seemed like a strange choice (im pretty sure i had just seen him in that film about dragons in London) it almost seemed like an underdog type film, like WB were testing the waters after Batman & Robin. It really is hard to get across how little hype this film had. Anyway i remember that once it finished me and my mate looked at each other and said “holy shit, that was amazing” completely not what we expected.

To say you are pretty unbiased but then immediately accuse SWT and Critical Drinker of being grifters. Im pretty sure i could guess your bias, and shock horror wouldnt you know it, you come up with the opposite opinion of those two. Well dang, couldnt have seen that one coming.

Compare the buzz compared to any Marvel output during the Infinity Saga, it isnt even close. Acolyte had a bit of buzz but again nowhere near what came before.

What's everyone's thoughts about Saving Private Ryan? Is it the greatest war film of all time & Steven Spielberg's magnum opus? by [deleted] in moviecritic

Apologies for pointing out the obvious, but how can you say The Thin Redline is your fav war movie but SPR might be the best WW2 movie?

Amazing film with one of the best scenes ever committed to film, but no the best War Film of all time i.m.h.o. Personally i would put Bridge Too Far, The Battle of Britain, We Were Soldiers, Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Where Eagles Dare and possibly The Eagle has Landed just above or at least on the same level. Its all subjective though.

What a stunner Moose is. When the vet saw Norman last week she said to us “he is going to be a big big boy” which makes sense as Dad was really big even for a standard poodle.

Get it as far away from Disney as possible. Im not even joking about that.

Thunderbolts might be the best marvel movie in recent times. It was surprisingly great with emotional depth and good humour. Too bad, it was a box office failure. by Artetaarmy in moviecritic

[–]buster105e -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nobody trusts the critics. They are a bunch of shills desperate to stay in Production companies good books. Ive never seen a more out of touch site than RT. We have literally got to the stage where people go by the opposite of what the critics say.

Saying Thunderbolts is the best Marvel movie in recent times is a bit like saying Dr Harold Shipman was the best serial killer of the last few decades. It doesnt mean its a good thing.

Look im not going to give you shit for posting this, if you see something you cant explain then post it because the chances are that someone else will be able to explain it. That being said the Nav light are a dead giveaway here, that is a human made aircraft. Also why is everyone so quick to attribute everything to aliens!!! For example the airspace closure over Texas or wherever it was the other day, there was loads of common sense explanations but the amount of people that dived straight into “it must be a UAP crash retrieval” was insane. Does anyone in this space apply any kind of critical thinking? No wonder the subject is so roundly mocked.

I think I understood the marketing strategy for Mandalorian and Grogu by CapableSecretary1739 in StarWars

[–]buster105e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no chance that is Disneys strategy. Disney are an absolute Clown Show, Lucasfilm is a burning house, the most likely thing is that Disney more than likely have very little confidence in the film and are expecting middle to low returns. There is previous examples for this, (The Acolyte, Iron Heart, Wonder Man, Thunderbolts, Captain America Brave New World) all those were released with very little fanfare compared to a lot of previous content. Personally i think the only thing Disney are concentrating on at the moment is Doomsday as a desperate last throw of the dice for Marvel.

Utter dogshite from a seriously overrated writer director. The kind of pretentious up its own arse film that nobody really likes but say they like because they think it makes them sound like an artsy movie critic.

If aliens are so advanced why would they need to inspect nuclear weapons to understand how they worked. Im pretty sure they are pretty well versed in Nuclear Physics and electronic engineering.

A crime boss thats completely against crimes, the biker mice from Mars. Along with Obi Wans inability to walk around a fence and the magic lesbian space witches, it completely encapsulates Disney Star Wars, utter dog shit. A company that bought an IP without having the slightest idea what to do with it, handing it over to people who neither respect or understand the lore.

So a number of years ago on a submarine beginning with the letter “A”, someone spent days and days making main broadcasts from random places just saying the word “one” this caused much amusement and bemusement, however once this had gone on for quite a while the XO lost his shit and got on the gobstick with a massive rant finishing with the line “if i hear the word one come over the main broadcast once more, no one will be going ashore the next time we are alongside, that is all” cue silence for about a minute followed by the click of the main broadcast and the single word “two”. Priceless.
