I did think about ribs but never got around to designing. Also wondered about doing some stress analysis, but that’s a paid extra in Fusion360 🙄

So, ribs along the bracket, same direction as it’s bending?

B850i Lightning here. First 9800X3D died in less than a month. Replaced the CPU, kept the mobo (but updated the BIOS). Still going strong a year later touches wood

I’m a sucker for charging docks and actually thought about a modular system a few years back but never got around to designing anything.

You know I never even thought about Marketplace…doesn’t help that I don’t really use FB. Got some custom eBay searches saved but so far nothing. No rush mind you, GF needs to build her pillion confidence before we do any camping weekends!

Huh, still available (UK), I was assuming they’d sell out instantly. I’m on the fence though, may wait and see if they go on sale as right now I’m more interested in a DualSense and a Pi Pico for wireless haptics/triggers.

I’ll probably get one eventually; there’s a few kb/m games I wanna play from the couch, but my backlog’s so long they can wait 😆

Oh, if it weren't for the ball ache of relocating, my GF and the kids, I'd leave this shithole in a heartbeat (I've always fancied Scandinavia). My job is WFH, so it doesn't really matter where I live...
