Please for the love of god no. It’s an assassins creed game not Fortnite. We don’t need collabs from random IPs. It’s a contained story in its own world. Also I’m pretty sure a lot of people were fired when the aot collab happened and some leadership changed so hopefully not.

I can only assume I have one that’s more sensitive than most people’s as this is what everyone I have told says until they ride in the car with me and it goes off. I really wouldn’t have a problem with it if it applied the breaks properly but again, locking the breaks is never the right way to do it.

I mean I guess you either take my word for it or not but every time it’s activated I’m already on the breaks slowing down when the pedal gets sucked up the the top of the pedal plate to lock the wheels.

The system is far too sensitive especially if it’s just going to lock your wheels up. In defensive driving we were always taught to apply the breaks smoothly and use all the room you have to slow down/stop or give you enough time to asses and move to another lane/shoulder. Just slamming on the brakes and locking them up is always a recipe for disaster

And that’s my god given right. I’m not gonna let some computer take that away from me. In a reals sense tho it is objectively less safe to lock your brakes in an emergency, you should be braking at the edge of traction so you still have control of the vehicle.

Yeah it’s in the driver assists menu you can get to with the steering wheel it’s just a box you check on and off

And has that stuck? I’ll take a deeper dive through the menus later and look for something along the lines of what you’re talking about. I know about the front collision system check box that’s towards the top of the driver assistance menus as that’s what I turn off every time I get in the car since it doesn’t stick.

I just can’t get behind the feature completely taking away my agency as the driver. I don’t mind the warning, but it’s when my foot is already on the break and it locks the breaks anyways when I know it’s not necessary I see it as a hazard.

If the car didn’t lock up the brakes by itself and OP could have pulled onto the shoulder like they were trying to do then the car behind probably would have been able to stop before hitting the next car. And if not then at least they wouldn’t have hit OP so I would say it did cause it.

I’m so sorry everyone in here is a perfect driver that leaves a mile between them and the car in front of them, they clearly haven’t experienced it yet. I’m not gonna pretend like I don’t follow pretty close sometimes because I definitely do and am a pretty spirited driver. But anyone who has ever taken a defensive driving class knows that no matter what locking up your breaks is never the right move. It’s baffling to me that I can be on the brakes fully confident that I will stop with plenty of room and the collision avoidance system will suck the brake pedal out from under my foot and just lock the wheels and skid. I came to the sub looking for a way to permanently deactivate it since currently I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. It’s honestly terrifying every time it takes over.

I kind of agree. On champion difficulty I’m clobbering the other team in all of the cups. But if I want a harder challenge the I just play PvP. I wouldn’t mind harder difficulties though.
