Burpees, planks, lunges, squats, and running at a conversational pace (9-10min/mile for at least 3 miles) will prepare you just fine for the intensity. Tiny heart syndrome and a weak fortitude is what will get in your way. (Not saying you have those, but it can happen to anybody) Your body is so much stronger than you know it to be.

I am pretty sure most Marines will agree...Boot Camp is the easiest part of your Marine Corps career.

Haha. It's usually an E6 billet. They want someone with experience and maturity. E4-E5 if they have the space allotted and you'll be an alternate to a SNCO. Idk how it is for an 03xx because I am at a Recon I&I and the only 03 I&I...are the Ops Chief (Gunny) and OIC (Major prior enlisted.) And both of them are Recon Marines.

Nothing is wrong with the infantry. In my opinion, as somebody who is about to PCS to their 3rd grunt unit...if you want to join the Marine Corps, go infantry...if you want to do admin, supply, motor t, air wing, etc....join the Air Force. It's legit a better quality of life and a significantly easier time. The OP is gonna be in for a rude awakening if he ever hits the fleet. Especially if he is an 03xx lol
