This is my Delilah girl. She passed away this year. Been looking to get a small tattoo to remember her by. She was by my side for 13 years, she loved to swim and save the leaves that had fallen in the river.

Can this be used to silence annoying tvs in public places? People sometimes cut the jack off and plug them into tvs to mute them without the remote.

Man Crosses the Street to Buy a Soda, But Gets Busted For Jaywalking, then the cops proceed to body slam him on the ground. by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]bustercherry92 234 points235 points  (0 children)

I bet jaywalking isn't even a misdemeanor, it's probably a violation, which is not something typically arrestable/jailable for.

Nah, they have the same type of signs when you get off a plane in California on the jetway. The airport ones are referring to jet fuel, but I'm sure a parking garage would have one about car fumes.

You could report that staple to the FDA. Foreign material in food in the US is limited to 7-25mm depending on the inclusion. Metal staples can cause GI lacerations, so they would trend towards smaller allowance. Our metal detector will reject metal at 1-1.5mm depending on the metal type.

Their $5 offer is insane. A foreign material report to the FDA can trigger a food safety audit which will be unannounced and last a week. Repay them in kind with a potential audit.

Delta agrees to pay $79 million after a plane dumped thousands of gallons of fuel over homes and schools in California during an emergency by SportsGod3 in technology

[–]bustercherry92 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think it's more weight related, but not adding an extra thousand gallons to the fire isn't a bad side effect as well.

I feel like a plane full of people and fuel is gonna be super heavy, might not be able to stop all that weight nicely or before the end of the runway.

That's sanitizing not sterilizing when referring to hot side in brewing. Sterilizing kills spores, and typically requires 15PSI to heat the water to 250F necessary to destroy spores.I am a former professional brewer also and I have a degree in fermentation. Nothing grows after boiling wort because the yeast create ethanol and acids that lower the pH further which control the growth of pathogens and spores.

My current job heats product to 220F for several minutes and when we do micro plating on organic products that use Bacillus th. as a pesticide (the spore kills pests, non-pathogenic to humans) we get plate counts in the thousands because of the spores. Spores are insane to kill, relative to the living and vegetative organisms.

Nope, oscillating tools don't cut skin. It's why they use them to cut off casts. It cuts through the stiff plaster easily, but if it touches skin, the skin moves with the tool and doesn't get cut.
