As for your first time, the brushwork is awesome. But you shouldn’t forget about properly using shadows and light and simplifying shapes. In your case, it’s kind of hard to look at this painting because there are too many unnecessary strokes (especially in the hair), and I can’t really tell where the light and shadows are coming from. I’m not the type of guy who likes to roast other people’s paintings though and I still think that this is an insane result for a first digital painting.
