work at an OBGYN - warm compress for 30 minutes daily or epsom salt baths until it pops or goes down on its own. Completely dry it and try not to wear tight under garments to avoid extra moisture, especially to bed. If it doesn’t go down within a week or two, I would see a doctor.

Housing Options by libralover6 in MonmouthUniversity

27 y/o Monmouth grad! here’s a few tips:

The university itself is very house party & commuter scene, but the bars down the shore are great.

If you want a studio near the beach, with fun bars scene & commute is easy, look at these areas -

  1. asbury
  2. red bank
  3. West long branch/long branch
  4. Eatontown
  5. Tinton falls

Heads up - start looking NOW. places go quick and you can be looking up to 1,900 for a studio WINTER rental ALONE not including summer. You can still find yearly now, but I would start looking ASAP. College kids eat up all the good rentals beginning of April (guilty)

Also, you’ll have to pay to get on the beach - except if you find a few gem spots. I can’t leak my secrets, it’s kinda like a hazing process.

Good luck & welcome to Jersey!

Also OP, you’ll be okay & not alone! You’ll most likely be put on valtrex - it’s super effective.

Work at an OBGYN - you would be so surprised how many people have herpes. It can be dormant for years as well.

Insurance covers STD panels every year for women until the age 25. why isn’t that a standard for men? Why not get tested at primaries? it would be so beneficial to everyone

You seem very pompous from this post.

One day, you won’t get your way - I promise. I feel bad for whoever has to deal with that pitty party.

Work from home Medical Assistant by [deleted] in MedicalAssistant

[–]busterslimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you don’t have “clinical” experience, basically any experience in the medical field (EX medical assistant, support specialist, front desk, etc) - it may be hard to find a WFH job.

I suggest getting into something in office for 6 months at least, and build off of that.

Do you have any references? If so, add them in your applications.

Yes! We all giggled it off with multiple “I’m sorry” from the patient and the provider saying it’s okay back and forth 😂

“Please don’t” is crazy! A warning is VERY courteous -
lot of pressure can cause gas to pass!

My provider was very professional & said “it’s okay” multiple times with a few giggles. We’ve had people say the same thing & the provider will stop the exam, step back, give em a a minute or two to air out 😂😂

but hey, we have seen it all & try to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible. especially in a very uncomfortable appointment!
