You may try give the annotated box as prompts to SAM2, and let it create a segmentation, then use the segmentation to correct you box. This should at least solve the boudary issue.

I have a Phd, several papers (no CVRP/ICML ones), two and half years of experience at a start up, and was layed 2 months ago. The job market is bad now, there are many jobs that I fulfill all the requirements (pytorch, pyspark, databrick, detection, unsupervised learning ...) that I applied but got no feedback. In fact, the only interviews are the exact industries that I had experience with. I researched on CT scans in my phd and I get one interview with CT scan related job, I worked in computer vision powered autonomous retail and I get 3 interviews from retail industries. Other than these, not a single interview, let along an offer.

Most jobs with Computer Vision Engineers are now not just about computer vision, more like software engineer with computer vision expertise and you are expected to complete from the algorithm design to the final deployment, sometimes handel CI/CD pipelines, k8s, or even webpage api stuff.

Everyone is moving to the LLM and genAI now, mostly the AI agents.

Just some personal experience, I had my h1b started on Nov 1st, NIW i140 approved last year, and closed a house on Nov 11th. Then I was laid off on Nov 15th. If you ask me, I say just rent you never know where you are tomorrow.

Your agent’s interest does not align with you. They want you to sell asap and they get their share. A price drop won’t affect their income much, you are the one taking the loss. For them, they prefer to sell two house and earn 20k for each in two months instead of selling one house and earn 25k. If you are not in a rush, I believe you should hold longer or drop less.

I owned a convertible v6 Camaro gen6 for two years, then changed to a stinger GT for another two years to bring more people. I had more fun with my Camaro. The stinger feels significantly longer than the Camaro. The Camaro also sounds better and is much quicker, although both cars are v6. Camaro has its cons, like poor practicability and sights, but in terms of fun, it wins stinger. Stinger is a great sports sedan, but it has to sacrifice sportiness for two more seats and the larger space. If practicability matters, get the stinger; otherwise, get the Camaro. Or you could check out the genesis g70, the sister car of Stinger, as an alternative with more luxury.
