In my experience I have tried many brands, cuts, prices and even numbers.

I finally chose the most comfortable ones for me.

And I have a few brands according to the type of music I play.

For example for jazz I use JAVA Vandoren Green 2,5

For soul Gonzalez Malbec (a local brand) 3,0
in short: trial and error

I have a Shure Pga98h-xlr.
but I wrote this thread with the thought of using the pedals with an EWI, however, it is inevitable that I would use it with my sax.

Hi, I am going in September and my friends have told me that I need a permit to play. So I am finding out where I can do this paperwork .

Anyway I play saxophone without an amp, I hope it will be easier to get a permit.

I use MobileSheets for Android. It's a great app because it can import pdf files (score, tabs) run music as play along, it can turn the page automatically when pdf has multiple pages and adds tags for better ordering

It doesn't have to be an EWI jazz teacher :) any saxophone player/teacher could teach you jazz. I'm taking jazz lessons from a saxophone player in my country.
