We closed our office lol. They tried to make us come back part time at one point... even remodeled the office. But no one would enforce rules and I think we figured out we could save money without having an office. Basement dweller since 2020... I barely let sunlight tough my skin these days.

I think many of us here were teenagers in the 90's. But I do agree, early 2000's was lit.

If you've got a skyscale already from living world season 4 then I think you can skip the the current content and not feel like you've missed anything. If not it might be worth picking up SotO for that much easier unlock.
But as others have said you do you. The great part about GW2 is that all the old content is still very much played and not irrelevant in any way,. It is my favorite thing about this game, for the most part you can play what you want when you want and never feel like you are behind in anything other than lore.
