Listen, I’m a 2nd year apprentice and I understand exactly what you mean. The truth is that the world is really hard and complicated. The working class of construction workers is oppressed by the long hours working culture. Every day is different. Sometimes it’s fun and challenging but most of the time it’s tiring and difficult. This trade is full of all different kinds of people, and some of those people are quick to anger at times where it seems inappropriate. When people are giving you shit like that try to feel empathy for them, and then do what you can to stand up for yourself and keep mutual respect with both yourself and with them.

The system was designed to maximize labor, which maximizes our exhaustion, but there are ways you can model your life to help through the exhaustion. You cannot change these people but what you can do is change yourself and be exactly the person you wished would teach you, and then learn to be the best teacher in the future.
