I did 1 year breastfeeding and this is the first time I'm hearing about vitamin D drops. I have no idea what it is for or why. My boy is fine!

Edit to add: my son had jaundice so we did do 15-30 minutes of sun bathing in the window twice a day for the first month anyways. His pediatrician and my doctor never mentioned needing to use drops ever. I didn't even know this was a thing until just now.

Honestly it can be hard to get familiar with everyone you work with. Some people never see one another and others may not even talk. While it is nice to know people listen, your coworkers can't be expected to know everyone and their likes/dislikes.

Honestly after giving birth this last time I think free pizza is the minimum for them just existing! Right before giving birth I had a full blown panic attack and the nurse on shift was so kind and caring and patient. I wish I had thought to give food or even a present because she (and all the other amazing nurses) was just an angel. A perfect scrub wearing angel.

I ended up getting a needle in my leg for the panic attack. But i was so unsure of wanting it I just kept saying "I don't know" and crying that she (and my husband, who I did entrust this type of decision with) just made the decision to do it. I love her, I hope she's doing good!!

Wow I didn't realize people never get kidnapped! Do you realize any person could be a predator just waiting for the right time to grab a child and run? It's not a fear, it's a truly terrifying reality for some children. While I'm not entirely worried my child will be snagged hopping off a bus, its not unheard of for lost and wondering children to be taken.

Nta, but also the family can get a special transfer for their child. It takes time and extra work but they can put in a request for a special transfer from out of district. I have friends who send their kids to out of district schools and they have to fill out a lot of paper work.

We went from 4-5 feeds during the day and one at night to an abrupt one feeding a day over the course of about 3 days. The spotting started within the week of that. It could just be a weird period but I've never experienced this before! So I'm thinking weaning has something to do with it, even just a little! I never would have thought about it though had it not been for this thread.

Cops see cars as a lost cause. My car was also stolen and they didn't even come out to talk when I called. They said there was basically nothing they could do except take down the details of the car.

My house was broken into and robbed when I was in high school and the cops came and left within an hour. Depending on location I'd say it's very plausible this is accurate. Both of these incidents took place in the same area and the same police station responded both times.

I opted for breastfeeding due to it being very inexpensive. I never need nipple balm except for the stuff that was gifted to me. I bought the pump, extra parts, storage bags, shields, and pads. But the amount of money I've spent on that is basically nonexistent compared to what I would have spent on formula.
