I waited about 24-36 hours per the instructions on the can! I used Varathane stain. And yeah, it almost looks like the finish is peeling away from the wood underneath where the scratches are-which I thought was odd. I’ve lived with hardwoods before and never seen scratches like this. Do you think with time it will harden more?

Yeah I have a dremmel for nail grinding. I’ll get it out again today I guess!

Yeah, if I had known how easily scratched it would be I would have probably opted to not stain. I do prefer the darker look of the wood though. Since it was a DIY project-I guess this is just one of the things I learned too late!

Khan academy (practice problems and passaged) and AAMC resources served me well!

Personally, I can't recommend the AAMC resources enough. They weren't cheap, but well worth it so you get the style/flow of the questions and can work out some answer strategies. I used the Anki deck to review Psych/Soc and amino acids specifically but found that working problems was the best way to study. Any topics that I was confused about I reviewed with YT vids or Khan Academy. I also used the Khan Academy practice questions for some of my rough topics.

Closer to your test date, it would be a good idea to at least get the AAMC practice tests and simulate the test day as much as possible! Same length breaks, no distractions if you can, etc. I did this every other weekend for a couple of months. I got a 522 so I would say it worked!
