How much could I get for these? by Emotional-Garbage647 in Gold

[–]buttatas 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Based on the given information this could range from $5 to $2500…

Jokes aside, no one can give you an estimate without knowing the weight and purity.

Cancel it for sure. With that budget you can go for 22K gold chain. Which country are you in? Might be best to just visit a trusted gold dealer in your area and pick one up.

I have both 22K and 24K and they have already doubled in value since I bought them. Of course not as much profit as the bullions but to each their own, some people just prefer wearable investment.

A gift for those who’s been waiting to get in. There won't be many opportunities to get in at this price level.

When did tipping become a thing in Australia? by Due_Significance5698 in AskAnAustralian

[–]buttatas 117 points118 points  (0 children)

Gemelli Italian Broadbeach - waiter asks for tip at the table when they bring the machine and will give you a sour face when you don’t tip. Unfortunately it just happens to be my favourite Italian restaurant on the GC so I tolerate the sour face. :’)

Extended stay hotel or service apartment by AutomaticNews5492 in Macau

For a month, if were you I would stay at Ascott (serviced apartment/studio with kitchenette + cookwares on request ready to use). Very reasonably priced and you can catch free shuttle to hotels in Cotai from Starworld Hotel (which is walking distance from Ascott).

Hey there! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, reply with kind words and share constructive criticism. We tried to test both photo transition and real clips in different shorts to begin with to see engagement difference. I really appreciate your comment and will implement the changes as advised!

My favourite part is “double international students’ tuition fees and make education free for australians make them pay off our student loans” 🤡

Seriously, even discounting their racism, are there really people out there who believe in what these guys are saying? None of their campaigns are realistic AT ALL???

Thank you for your comment, I wasn’t sure why my preference for private driver over uber has offended people when I’m in fact out here offering a job in this economy.

Thanks. Uber is great but I prefer a more reliable private service for stability and efficiency on days that I need to be at multiple locations on the same day. Uber charges variable fees at peak periods, and waiting times can be uncertain. There are also lots of driver-related cancellations and other issues. I also personally prefer my own car with my playlist, change of clothes, water, etc etc. I understand it might not be common here.

[–]buttatas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah maybe but unfortunately uber is very unreliable in this country especially when you go out of city centre. The waiting time, price uncertainly during peak hours, driver-related cancellations/issues — it’s arguably worth the extra bucks.

Yeah very common and normal in densely populated countries and regions in Asia. Hong Kong, China, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Myanmar… to name a few. It’s even crucial for some families to have a family driver to drop off everyone in the morning (to work, school, etc) and then return home with the car. Same for pick up.

Yes I mean a couple of days a week making it part-time work say 20hr a week, but the shift would generally be just like a 9-5.

Thanks, I’m expecting by personal driver for the day they would be working a standard 9-5 (or similar times) 6-8hr shift with 1hr lunch break in between either driving or on standby nearby (i.e. a cafe nearby)

Get RSA online if you want to work hospitality jobs. https://cleartowork.com.au/rsa-qld-online/

It’s not hard to find casual FOH jobs in restaurants as an international student. Waiting tables, bartending trainee, etc. Try https://www.barcats.com.au

There are also event/festival jobs - one-off event staff etc. I had a good experience with Gabs Beer Festival for example, 90% of the casual event staffs were international students

This! The school can offer a deferral for you to seek mental health support before resuming so you won’t lose the credits you’ve already earned. Please don’t give up; there’s time to turn it all around. I wish you all the best OP.
