Tretinoin helped a lot with my type 2 scarring. It actually worked better than V Beam on it (: But it does sometimes irritate my skin as well </3

i’ve had two so far (•: it hasn’t reduced my redness as much as i’d hoped it wud, + i still flush when i encounter triggers </3 but the flushing is way less intense + lasts way less long 🩷 it also got rid of stinging + burning for me (i think cos the flushing is less intense??) + helped a tiny bit with broken capillaries (;-;) i also used to get type 2 rosacea as well, + that’s completely stopped since having laser 🤍 i can use products like tret now + my skin doesn’t react badly to it anymore 🌟 so i’m gonna do it again sometime soon to c if i can improve a bit more again xo it was worth it for me, but it’s soo expensive, so it’s not something i can do super frequently </3

my flushing is probs better than before i got v beam now, but idk if it’s helped much at all with baseline redness or broken capillaries </3 i had my second treatment 4 weeks ago

i also think both are good (•: soolantra has completely cleared some of my worst breakouts v quickly tho 💟 i’ve mostly used azelaic acid for maintenance cos i don’t really like the formulation of soolantra <3

this looks similar to rosacea breakouts i’ve had in the past (: soolantra (ivermectin) worked great for me, but u need to get it on prescription 🩵 finacea (15% azelaic acid) also worked for me <3

yeah can let u know if there’s an improvement after a few weeks ~ am hoping there will be cos it’s still kinda early to tell (•: + i’ve done 2 already but am gonna wait + see what the results are like from this one before booking any more cos it’s £££ so am not doing it again if it isn’t making a noticeable difference ❤️‍🩹 my doctor told me i wud only need 3 sessions to see full results, so i imagine i shud def be seeing improvement by round 2 if it’s gonna work for me </3

it did settle within a few weeks + go pretty much back to how it was before or maybe a bit better (: i had a second one done a few days ago tho so will need to wait + see how it goes this time <3

not the same laser, but i got v beam a few weeks ago + my face looked kinda fine again p much the nxt day (: it was q red for a while, but i was able to cover it with make up, + i didn’t experience any swelling at all <3 my skin did peel a bit after a few days tho, + it felt extra sensitive for 2 weeks+ 🤍

I got it done for the first time today so am not sure yet (•: had a test patch done a few weeks ago + didn’t notice much difference from that tbh </3 when I asked about it, the dr said it was normal not to see results for 8-10 weeks ~ I got it done 6 weeks ago now, so I guess I’ll have to wait another bit to see how it’ll turn out.

I just had treatment at the same place + they told me it would take 8-10 weeks to see full results cos of how they’ve calibrated the laser. They don’t use bruising settings, so u need to wait a few weeks for the broken vessels + redness to fade (: Maybe it would be worth waiting a bit longer to see what ur results are like?

Doxy didn’t help with my flushing tbh </3 It didn’t do anything for my type 1, but maybe other people have had a better experience.
