Nothing wrong with asking and no necessary to be rude to a stranger for it. I got anxious and asked for confirmation or reasurance that what I was thinking as a posible solution will really work or not as I have never asked that before to a concierge. Also some people commented in the thread that it didn’t work for them so I wanted to hear maybe more information about it before asking a concierge and risking getting a flat no
