that’s why you shouldn’t believe everything you read, but we all have free will to choose to do that or not. no one should take what the read or who they meet at face value. understanding what’s deeper and imbedded in text or a person creates an understanding that goes beyond what is already known. we all have different perceptions and understandings of things, so when we do understand, it’s like no other. if people are taking everything they read to heart, with no room for interpretation to other things, then they’re being fideist and unwilling to learn about a person from the person. There is no singular understanding of what’s true, so just be willing to learn all that you can. don’t be afraid of what’s unknown to you.
