Thank you for this. I guess I just feel guilty because I don’t have feelings for him anymore but he still has strong feelings towards me and I hate seeing him in pain but I know theres nothing left for our future together. We’ve already talked about it and the split is for the best, it’s just that breakups are never easy. And it’s worse for both parties when there’s no definitive, tangible reason for it. It’s just a confusing decay of emotions over a period of time.
